What we can do for you

Nutritional Consultation

Personalized Nutritional Plan

During the first consultation we will focus on:

  • General history to gather information, symptoms, and signs related to your health condition;
  • Detailed medical history;
  • Family history to identify any predisposition to diseases;
  • Dietary and life-style habits

We will review the most recent laboratory analyses, collect a daily food diary, and evaluate any intolerances/allergies. Finally, we will take weight and circumference measurements.

Following the first consultation, we will create a customized and feasible nutritional plan that fits your diet preferences (vegetarian, vegan, lactose- or gluten-free) and lifestyle.

If you are trying to conceive, the plan will include dietary and lifestyle adjustments, as well as supplemental support to improve your hormonal balance, egg and sperm quality, aiming to support your reproductive health and boost your fertility.

If you are embracing the In vitro fertilization (IVF) journey, we will design a specific plan for each step:

  • preparation to IVF
  • ovarian stimulation
  • egg retrieval
  • embryo transfer and implantation

If you are expecting, we will draw up specific diet plans for each trimester of pregnancy.

Follow-up

30-40 minutes

The frequency of follow-up is tailored to each patient, but it is typically on a monthly basis. During the follow-up consultation we will discuss:

  • the progress of your journey and any difficulties encountered;
  • any symptoms and general signs related to your health status;
  • potential readjustments of nutritional guidelines.

We will also check weight and circumferences measurements.

Psychological support

1 hour

During the meeting, the psychologist will assess and understand your emotional, cognitive and behavioural well-being.

This process may include:

  • Initial interview: we will learn about your history, including the reason for the visit, present symptoms, medical and personal history, and current life situations.
  • Assessment: the psychologist identifies with the patient the emotional picture and any difficulties or discomforts on which to focus.
  • Therapeutic dialogue: we will discuss the problems and feelings you are facing. This conversation may concern past events, relationships, personal beliefs, thought patterns and coping strategies.
  • Emotional support: a safe and comfortable environment will be provided in which you feel listened to, supported and understood. This can help you cope with difficult emotions and gain a greater sense of self-awareness.

The importance of psychological counselling lies in the fact that it provides an accurate assessment of a person’s emotional and mental state, helping you to understand and deal with any emotional distress. It also provides an opportunity for the patient to express his or her thoughts and feelings and be supported by a professional.

The treatment and support provided following the psychological examination can help the patient improve their quality of life and cope more serenely with the psychological challenges of seeking and achieving a pregnancy.
